P & I welcome new service engineer

On Tuesday 12th June, we welcomed new service engineer, Stephen Hockney, to the team.

To ensure customer demand is met, P & I have been actively recruiting for service engineers over the last quarter. Stephen joins us as part of that recruitment drive.

Stephen has spent the majority of his career working as a contractor for the US military in various locations around the world including Germany, Iraq and Afghanistan. He started off in 2000 by maintaining their military vehicles before moving on to working on their critical power equipment in 2005.

For the last three years, Stephen has been working for a fire and rescue service, maintaining their fleet. Deciding that he wanted to get back into the critical power aspect of his career, Stephen has made the move to P & I.

Having completed his week-long induction with training and development supervisor, Paul Ross, Stephen is now on the road assisting our customers. As a service engineer, Stephen will fall under the leadership of service manager, Ashley Benfield, who commented:

“This is an exciting time for P & I as we continue to expand. I’m always on the lookout for people who have a great attitude to work and this is exactly what we have found with Stephen. I am very pleased to welcome Stephen to the team and wish him every success for his future with us. I look forward to working with him.”

From everyone here at P & I, we would like to welcome Stephen to the team!
