Planned servicing for your standby generator

Oil and filter change
We check oil levels and change the engine oil and filter when due, using the specification required for your generator to support effective engine lubrication.
Coolant and antifreeze
We check coolant levels and antifreeze concentration, looking for signs of leakage and identifying attention needed to help the cooling system work effectively.
Fuel system
We inspect the fuel system for leaks and restrictions, check filter maintenance needs and identify signs that further investigation or fuel assessment may be needed.
Air filter maintenance
We inspect the air filter and clean or replace it according to its type and condition, helping the engine receive the airflow it needs.
Belts and hoses
We check belts and hoses for cracks, wear, leaks and looseness, identifying adjustment or replacement needs before deterioration affects the generator's operation.
Battery condition

Lubrication

A service checks condition and carries out scheduled maintenance. Load bank testing applies a controlled electrical demand so the generator's performance can be assessed under specified test conditions.
It can provide useful evidence when reviewing standby readiness, commissioning equipment or investigating performance concerns. We help you plan the test around the generator, the required load and the site's operating arrangements, with the findings recorded for review.
Ask about load bank testing alongside your maintenance programme, particularly where routine operation provides limited evidence of how the generator performs under load.
